These Pictures were created in 2014 for the Artproject „To the North“, organised by the Danish A Secret Club (http://www.schhh.org/past/2014.html). A Secret club invented an imaginary culture, a mythology and a region for the artists to work with: E.g. a six-legged bear was supposed to be important, as well as aurora-like weather-phenomena and lots of snow. A Secret Club does similar projects on a regular basis. Take a look: http://www.schhh.org
I decided to create a set of images, which are supposed to tell the story of a lone man searching for his tribe. This is an extract. It’s drawn with ink.
Diese Arbeiten sind Ende 2014 für die Gruppenausstellung „To the North“ entstanden. Organisiert wurde das von A Secret Club (http://www.schhh.org/past/2014.html). A Secret Club, eine dänisch Gruppe, hatte sich dafür eine Welt mitsamt Mythologie ausgedacht, die den Teilnehmern als Grundlage für ihre Arbeiten dienten, u.a. Für „The North“ zeichnete ich eine Bildreihe, die die Geschichte eines Zurückgelassenen auf der Suche nach seiner Gemeinschaft erzählt. Hier ein paar Bilder daraus. Die Technik ist Tusche.
